Why attend a Discipleship Seminar?

The MOST IMPORTANT STEP anyone will ever take is the three-faceted, life-changing step of believing, repenting and accepting Christ as our Savior and Lord. This will ensure our eternal home in Heaven with Him. There is MORE however that He wants us to learn while we’re on Earth.

The Bible says repeatedly that “God Is Love,” that “God Is Just” and that Heaven is an unimaginably wonderful place. Why doesn’t a loving, just God take us to Heaven when we believe, repent and accept Christ?

Answer: Because He has so much for us to do while we yet remain on Earth.

Jesus said in John 8:31 …”If you continue in my Word, then you are My Disciples indeed”. In order for any of us to “continue in His Word” we need to set aside time daily, praying earnestly, talking with God and listening in faith to His guidance. Another crucial ingredient in “continuing in His Word” is studying His Word. Not just a cursory glance at a few verses of scripture, then off to do something else. We develop a vital and living relationship with Him by getting to know Him, and this can only be accomplished by praying, studying His word, worshipping and interacting with other believers. There are no shortcuts!

Our studies will focus on a practical life-related understanding of the believer’s spiritual walk on the journey of true discipleship, through academic level exposure to Biblical principles.
